We have more technology, knowledge, and people than centuries ago, but we are more cowardly, passive, and lazy. We read stories of old and laud the men for their courage because we lack it.

There is much to be concerned about in Europe. This once thriving land full of churches (though not always spot on theologically) has now turned into a Christian wasteland. However, the Gospel brings new life.

Three commonalities appear in these European missionary stories: the predicament of the people, the persecution from the people, and the proclamation to the people.

The representative spoke at a prayer breakfast. In her introduction, she bragged about being on time to the prayer because she turned down sex with her fiancée. She then stated that it would happen that night. Later, she posted on the tweet machine that she goes to church because she is a sinner and not a saint while also noting that this was a joke. Many problems surround this now infamous speech.
